The United States government is suing the S&P Ratings agency for something that happened years ago, of which a number of ratings agencies took part in… However, none of the other ratings agencies downgraded the US Government’s debt like the S&P did. Keep in mind, a rating is just an opinion, but that opinion is now going to cost the S&P a tremendous amount of time and money in the end. This reminds me of 3rd world countries with dictators where no one can say anything bad about the government or they get thrown in jail… It’s a disgrace. Read the full article here.
